Jagruti Seva Sanstha is a registered NGO working at grass root level in the slums in Pune and nearby areas in the field of education, vocational training and healthcare since 1997.
Jagruti, as the name suggests, strives for 'awakening' of the underprivileged towards new knowledge, better skills, values and attitudes.
Jagruti's main objective is to initiate the welfare of the needy and poor to become self-reliant through education and awareness with special emphasis on vocational training and healthcare for women and children.

Educational Programs
Day Care Center is proving to be very useful for working mothers, mainly working on construction sites or as household help, from the low income communities.
Aarogya Sathi Program
We arrange in-house training for three months at Jagruti Center and another three months practical training at a renowned hospital.
Nurse Aid Training
The course consists of basic practical training to work as bedside assistants in hospitals and at home.
Family Planning
Awareness programs about the need, methods and advantages of family planning are continuously conducted for men, women, young girls and boys
Mobile Clinic
A van with necessary medicines and equipments goes around in about twenty five villages in remote areas
